Sugaring will not make your hair grow back thicker. When hair is removed at the root, your body grows a completely new strand. This new hair initially appears finer and softer. As it continues through the growth (anagen) phase, it will eventually reach its natural thickness. In fact, sugaring encourages hair to grow back softer and finer rather than coarser.

Sugaring is often less painful than traditional waxing, especially when done correctly. Unlike wax, sugar paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and removed with it, allowing hairs to slide out naturally with minimal tugging. The paste is used at body temperature and only sticks to hair and dead skin cells, not live skin, reducing irritation. When applied skillfully, sugaring feels gentler, leaving skin smooth, calm, and less sensitive after your session.

For your first sugaring session on intimate areas, we recommend returning after three weeks. Subsequent appointments can be scheduled every four to six weeks, depending on your hair growth rate. Over time, your hair will grow more sporadically, and you’ll enjoy the long-lasting results!
